This Privacy Policy explains how BuckHaul (“BuckHaul,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and related services (together, the “Service”). BuckHaul is operated as a sole proprietorship based in the United States.

1. Information We Collect

- Waitlist sign-up: your email address.
- Contact form: your name, email address, subject, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
Log and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps, and referring URL. This is collected by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Service.
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this Policy.
2. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Respond to your inquiries and fulfill waitlist requests.
- Send you the waitlist launch notification and related updates about the Service.
- Detect, prevent, and address security or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the following categories:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service, including Vercel (hosting and logs), Supabase (database, when implemented), and Resend (transactional email, when implemented). These providers are bound by their own terms and process data only on our behalf.
- Affiliate partners and retailers: when you click an affiliate link from the Service to a retailer’s site, the retailer may receive information identifying the click as originating from BuckHaul so we can be credited for any resulting purchase. The retailer’s privacy practices apply after you leave our site.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BuckHaul, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if BuckHaul is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We use only cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this Policy.

We retain information for as long as your waitlist entry or account is active, or as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us via /contact and we will delete it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S.
